Pawan Kalyan, the Power Star of Telugu cinema, is hitting back to the screens to enthrall his fans through ‘Komaram Puli’. Though Pawan Kalyan has been the invincible hero for a long time, he is playing a cop for the first time in ‘Komaram Puli’. Lets take a look at the best characters that the Power Stat has donned!

The Sweet Balu

Recollect ‘Tholi Prema’, the rage of the youth a decade back, directed by Karunakaran. Pawan Kalyan’s character was ‘Balu’. Possibly the first break the power star got was through ‘Tholi Prema’. As Balu, Pawan was excellent. He fit in to the skin of the character and some of his antics were imitated by many. Especially in the song ‘Emi Sodhara’ where he is completely in love with his lady. As Balu, Pawan was the cutest and any other actor would have merely been an actor!

The Fierce Badri

Badri…Badrinath… Director Puri Jagannath made sure his hero Pawan Kalyan be an ambitious ad maker, a loyal lover and a kind hearted person. This characterization of Badri was simply superb. Clad in relaxed formals at work and in cool casuals while out, Badri made Pawan Kalyan the next style icon of Andhra Pradesh.

The Happy-go-lucky Sidhu

S J Suryah’s blockbuster ‘Kushi’ showed Pawan Kalyan as ‘Sidhu..Siddardha Roy’ a happy-go-lucky guy who loves his parents so much. Look at Pawan’s attitude in the movie. He balances his ego with an extrovert nature. He’s a dedicated friend as well. Don’t you forget his flirty nature! Not just that, recall the drunken scene where he laments! Pawan Kalyan at his very best!

The Agile Johnny

Pawan Kalyan showed a little bit of his stunts in ‘Kushi’ by being the stunt director. In ‘Johnny’ he turned as the director himself. All Pawan fans know that he’s fond of martial arts and that’s precisely the essence of ‘Johnny’. He’s agile, he’s vigilant and he’s immaculate in his fights and moves. Complete with a bandana on his head, Johnny fights the guys with his ‘ninja’ kicks.

24 Carat Bangaram

‘Bangaram’ directed by Dharani saw Pawan in an altogether new dimension. He’s ambitious; he’s fighting and loves challenges. As ‘Bangaram’ Pawan was street smart and shrewdly handled things. Positive in his approach Pawan’s stunts in the movie were marvellous. Pawan Kalyan donned the media man’s role and fit the bill perfectly.

The Uber Cool ‘Jalsa’ Sanjay

‘Jalsa’ almost tried to get the ‘Kushi’ Pawan Kalyan out but in this movie, Pawan was the duty free hero. He likes himself very much. He’s carefree yet cares for his friends. He is solid in thought. Trivikram Srinivas, the director, crafted the character beautifully amidst two heroines. The director through one of the heroine’s conveys the character impressively saying that an average guy is like a park with limited variety but Sanjay, (that’s Pawan in ‘Jalsa’) is like a forest where one can find something new everyday! Isn’t Pawan Kalyan someone like that? He continues to amaze us till now!

The Puli Roar

Variety in character all through his career, unlike his contemporaries Pawan Kalyan has not repeated roles. He’s a cop this time! Have a look at the promos, Pawan looks wild. He tried a police costume in ‘Gudumba Shankar’ but he was not a cop. He’s got it now! Fights, guns and all the high voltage action will come to place this August, when Pawan Kalyan will unleash the dynamism.
